Our Story

We started this adventure almost 10 years ago working for a couple of neighboring ranches (Frost and Hanna) south of Fountain, CO. We spent the better part of 6 years learning the ins and outs of ranching, alfalfa farming, as well as small scale organic vegetable farming. During this period we began raising chickens on pasture in our spare time. As our budding chicken business grew we spent a lot of time listening to customer's wants and desires for their food. This has led us to Pasture Raised, No Corn No Soy eggs and meat and when we say pasture raised we mean it. Our meat birds spend their lives on sub irrigated cattle pasture scratching for and chasing down bugs as well as eating their fill of forage. Our laying hens are rotated between the same pastures in the late spring, summer and early fall and our garden and cattle pens in the colder months.

Our mission is to produce the best quality food that we can and maintain a level of transparency that never leaves our customers wondering what it is they're putting in their bodies.
